Summer Classic Bike Show Shines: Checkout the Show Programme

Rex Butcher at Ardingly: Rex will be joining us at Ardingly this Sunday. Rex co-rode the Dresda Triton with Dave Degens to an awesome victory at the 1965 Barcelona 24-Hour Endurance Race. A real Giant-killer, the machine outperformed the teams of factory bikes to win at the twisty Monjuic Circuit.

Ken Fox Wall of Death Comes to Ardingly: We’re super excited to announce that The Ken Fox Wall of Death will be at The Summer Classic Bike Show on Sunday 26 July, their first time at the Showground since before 2014. Make sure to show them your support, as show organiser Julie Diplock hopes to take to the Wall on the handlebars! Entry to the Wall is a fiver - so be there or be square!

Dresda Owners Club Launch at The Summer Classic Bike Show: Here on Show today is the Dresda built by Dave Degens and raced to victory by him and Ian Goddard in the 1970 Barcelona 24 Horas against the combined might of the British and European factory teams, the historic machine offered here has been featured in numerous motorcycling books and magazines over the years. Notable features include twin Amal Concentric carburettors; 18" Borrani wheel rims; Dresda large capacity glassfibre fuel tank; Kerber 10,000rpm tachometer; integral headlamp; and a double-sided eightcam front brake, believed the only one cast in magnesium rather than aluminium. Dave raced the DresdaTriumph at the 77th Goodwood Members' Meeting in 2019, and also picked up a 'Best Bike' concours award with it.
